There’s one week left to share your feedback on Walton County’s Land Development Code rewrite! The community survey closes Friday, October 2, 2026, at 5 p.m.

The Land Development Code shapes how land is developed, where businesses are allowed, and how natural resources are protected. Your input will help guide updates to Chapters 1 through 8, with the goal of making the code easier to understand, more predictable, and better aligned with our community’s priorities.

Building on 14 community and industry roundtables held in May, this survey is an opportunity to share your experiences, identify what matters most to you, and suggest improvements. The survey takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes, can be completed on your phone, and most questions are optional.
