Attend Registration Event for Severe Weather Activation Program
The Severe Weather Activation Program (SWAP) is a program that activates during inclement weather and provides life-saving measures for people experiencing unsheltered homelessness. SWAP will assess households and administer hotel vouchers directly to enrolled households when the weather poses a threat to the well-being and lives of people sleeping or living outdoors. Visit the Almost Home Severe Weather Activation Program web page for more information.
People experiencing homelessness in Broomfield County can register for SWAP at either of the two registration events:
- Sept. 5 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the City and County of Broomfield Human Services building
- Sept. 10 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Refuge located at 11600 Quay St Unit 200 in Broomfield
Pre-registration for SWAP is required. For more information, visit the Almost Home website and talk with an Almost Home representative at the registration event.
