September is National Preparedness Month and the peak of hurricane season, making now an important time to ensure you and your family are prepared for the weeks ahead.

Seminole County teams work year round behind the scenes to ensure resources are ready to support residents before, during and after severe weather. During the last three major tropical events, an average of 289,665 sandbags and 4,140 blue tarps were distributed, while 506,667 cubic yards of storm debris were collected.
