Walworth County’s Largest Senior Resource Fair has a New Name and Location!
The Walworth County Aging Network (WCAN) will host the annual Aging and Abilities Resource Fair (formerly known as the Senior Resource Fair) on Thursday, September 24, from 9 a.m. to noon at a new location, the Walworth County Fairgrounds Activity Center, 411 E. Court Street, Elkhorn. The Fair will feature more than 65 vendors, health screenings provided by Aurora Health Care, carnival games, petting farm, food trucks, free coffee and water, and awesome door prizes. The first 300 attendees will receive a free canvas bag and a gift. Additionally, Walworth County Cycling Without Age will provide bike rides (weather dependent), and staff from the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) will be able to assist with completing POA forms.
We are excited about this year’s Walworth County Aging and Abilities Resource Fair,” says ADRC Manager Randy Kohl. “The new name and location allow us to grow the event and offer additional activities. More than 65 agencies that provide services for older adults and individuals with disabilities will be on hand to share information and answer questions. You won’t want to miss this event.
The Aging and Abilities Resource Fair is open to the public and free to attend. Ample free parking will be available at the Walworth County Fairgrounds.
