Walton County, FL, 08/28/26 – Walton County is rewriting its Land Development Code — the rules that shape how land is developed, where businesses can locate, and how our natural resources are protected.
The goal? A code that’s more predictable, easier to understand, and better aligned with the community’s vision.

In May, 14 roundtable discussions were held across the county. Now we’re bringing that conversation to every resident with a short community survey.
