The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, in the Jack Durrance Auditorium on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 SE 1st St., Gainesville). This meeting begins at 1:30 p.m.

The committee will take public comments in person only. The meeting is not available live on Cox Channel 12, but is available on the AC TV app (Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku), and the county’s video-on-demand website.

Items for the Development Review Committee meeting:

Green Hills Tiny Farm Stay – This is a Minor Development Plan to allow four tiny homes on wheels for a farm stay on approximately five acres. It is located on Tax Parcel Number 02987-000-000 at 17725 NW CR 239 with Vrinda Sheth as the owner. Rural/Agricultural Future Land Use; Agriculture (A) Zoning District. 

JWC Farms Hunt Camp – This is a Minor Development Plan for the change of use of existing home to a hunting lodge on 613.44 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel Numbers 07570-000-000 and 07570-002-000 at 20221 N State Road 235 with eda, Inc. as agents. Rural/Agriculture Future Land Use; Agriculture (A) Zoning District

Land Homestead in Cross Creek – This is a Minor Development Plan for a new homestead site on 2.1 acres and reduction to the Preservation Buffer Overlay district. It is located on Tax Parcel Numbers 18354-056-000, and a portion of 18354-056-001 at 18619 S County Road 325 for Daniel and Courtney Land - owners. Cross Creek Special Study Area Active Use Zone Future Land Use; Agriculture (A) Zoning District, and Preservation Buffer Overlay District.
