BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) invites people interested in learning to fly fish to a free program on Beginner Fly-Fishing Instruction & Fishing on Sept. 24 from 4 – 8:30 p.m. at its Burr Oak Woods Conservation Nature Center in Blue Springs. 

Fly fishing is a great way to add skill and finesse to angling efforts. This program will offer inside instruction on fly fishing followed by outside practice casting in the area pond and then tying on flies to catch some fish.
