FAA Proposes $289,215 Fine Against Gorge Drones for Unmanned Aircraft System Violations

WASHINGTON — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a $289,215 civil penalty against Gorge Drones of Stevenson, Washington, for alleged unauthorized drone operations.

The FAA alleges Gorge Drones operated a drone on 15 occasions to dispense fertilizer when it did not have an agricultural aircraft operator certificate. In addition, the FAA alleges the drone was not registered with the FAA and did not have an airworthiness certificate.

The alleged violations occurred on various dates between March 2025 and April 2025.
