Today was due to see the start of the trial of PSC Director Ben Jamal and Stop The War Coalition Vice-Chair Chris Nineham. We thank everyone who joined us in solidarity outside Westminster Magistrates Court this morning.

Instead, the trial has been adjourned today because of the volume of material disclosed to the defence at a late stage by the Crown Prosecution Service. The trial will now resume on Thursday 26 February and continue next week from Monday 2 to Wed 4 March at a venue to be confirmed. Two further days may be required later in March.

This case is part of a wider clampdown on the right to protest in general and specifically in support of the rights of the Palestinian people. We will not be deterred from our campaigning.
