Concilio Names Chairman of the Board

HELSINKI, Finland--Concilio Networks, the company that brings Voice over IP benefits to every mobile handset, today announced that Alex Sozonoff, a long-time executive at Hewlett-Packard Co. who has served on the boards of numerous privately held and public technology companies, has been named chairman of its Board of Directors.

Sozonoff has more than four decades of experience in the information technology and telecommunications industries. He began working for Hewlett-Packard Co. in 1967, where he held a variety of senior executive positions until his retirement in 2002. Among his roles at HP, Sozonoff was European general manager for the Computer Products Sales and Distribution Organization; vice president and general manager of Worldwide Channel Business; general manager of Computer Marketing and Operations, where he developed the e-World vision - HP's e-services strategy; and vice president of Customer Advocacy. Since his retirement he has served as a senior advisor to HP's CEO. He also briefly served as vice president of International Operations at Harris Information Systems.

Sozonoff also serves a chairman of a number of boards, including Global Beach, a London-based interactive marketing company; European Wholesale Group, a European consortium of IT wholesalers; and HP Finland. He also is a board member for Internet and mobile security provider F-Secure Corp. and the HP Russia Advisory Board, and had previously served on the board of Russian mobile operator VimpelCom. Additionally, Sozonoff is vice chairman of the Geneva-based Sir Peter Ustinov Charity Foundation.
